When I Cannot Repair A Car Myself I Take It To Paul And Donnie At LRM

Your car needs work, and you don't know who to trust.  You could take it to the dealer, but the dealer technicians charge $125 per hour, and most dealer technicians are young and inexperienced.

So you want to take your car to an independent shop where the technicians have years of experience working on cars like yours.

I have two BMW's, and I enjoy working on my cars.  I replace brake pads myself, and I change the oil.  I change spark plugs and coil packs.  I just finished replacing the shocks, springs and struts on my 325xi touring sedan (station wagon).

There are some repairs I leave to a qualified technician.  I don''t change fluids becuase it's a messy job, and the environmental regulations regarding disposal of the old fluids are a hassle.

There are other repairs that require more experience than have I.

Paul is the owner, and Donnie is his trusted sidekick.  

They also perform my car's safety and emissions inspections.

The last time I took my BMW M3 to Paul and Donnie the car needed a new radiator and hoses.  That job would have taken me five (5) hours of messy work, and I'd have been drenched in antifreeze.  Paul had the job done in 90 minutes.  I had him change the transmission cooler at the same time.
